IBM Adds To Escalating Social Arms Race

In recent weeks the social technology market has seen a wave of consolidation, evident in moves by established software giants: Microsoft bought Yammer; Salesforce grabbed Buddy Media; Oracle added Vitrue and, just days ago, Involver to its stable.
